Catering Service Workshop
What is it?

Catering area is one of the most popular among the immigrants that look for a job in Ireland. The applicant will learn how to serve people in buffets, cocktail parties, events, meetings and reunions. Usually, the work is connected to the hospitality area. Working in catering can be financially worth, however, the job demands lots of specific knowledge as the professional needs to be able to deal with food following international rules of hygiene.



Workshop
In order to make it easier for Brazilians to find a job in Ireland, Brasilforall offers the Catering Service Workshop in Portuguese. The program lasts 8 hours and it is done in just one day. The applicant will learn fundamental rules to transport, store and serve food in different occasions. At the end, the participant will receive a certificate that proves he/she successfully complete the course.

The workshop will be divided in topics:
• What is Catering Service
• Kinds of meals
• Preparing the banquet
• Etiquette
• Silver Service
• Vocabulary of the profession

The workshop will join practice and theory in a dynamic way. The tutors have vast experience in the catering area. The course will be translated into Portuguese simultaneously. Brasilforall will give to all participants a list of contacts and websites of the main employers in the catering service sector
